# Activity Log and Logs

**Activity Log** is the record of everything Veles did, on the Hub and on each child. The child keeps its own copy of what happened to it.

## Workflow Executions

One row per workflow run: **Workflow**, **Started**, **Status**, **Environment**, **Trigger**, **Actions**, **Duration**. Trigger is **Manual**, **From Hub**, **Automatic** or **After refresh**. Expand a row to see each action in order with its status, duration and message.

Status values for a run: **Queued**, **Running**, **In Progress**, **Success**, **Partial Success**, **Failed**. For a step: **Success**, **Failed**, **Warning**, **Info**, **Skipped**, **Pending Activation**, **Cancelled**.

While a run is in flight the list refreshes itself every 30 seconds.

## Activity Logs

Everything that is not a workflow run: **Config Push**, **Config Pull**, **Connection**, **Sandbox Refresh**, **Refresh Request**, **Provision**, **User Setup Pull**, status notifications and more. Filter by **Environment**, **Workflow**, **Type** and **Direction** (inbound, outbound, local). A push row records which overrides the child kept.

## Stuck runs

A run that has shown no progress for 5 minutes reads **Taking longer than expected**; on the Hub its menu offers **Force sync remote**. After 30 minutes without activity the menu offers **Mark as failed**, with a confirmation; if the real result arrives later, it replaces the mark. The **Stuck Execution Detection** job ends any run with no activity for 2 hours on its own.

## Logs and Debug

Two more tabs appear when debug mode is enabled on your licence by Beyond The Cloud: **Logs** lists internal log entries with severity, error code and message; **Debug** shows feature parameters, the licence state, usage counters against your plan's limits and which features are available. Ask for it when you work with us on a support case.

## Retention

Runs, logs and change history are kept for 365 days by default and deleted by the **Execution Record Cleanup** job, when it is scheduled. See [Background jobs](/docs/setup/background-jobs).
